Trump, Ford spar over ‘fiscal cliff’

Trump and Ford spar again over the looming fiscal cliff.

Trump and the billionaire Republican are now battling over the $600 billion in tax hikes that will take effect on March 1, which the president has repeatedly threatened to ignore.

In the meantime, they have begun a public feud that has already produced a few uncomfortable moments, including an impromptu photo-op during which Ford appeared to touch his crotch in the Oval Office.

“The only reason he did it is because of the fact that he’s a bully,” Trump told Ford on Wednesday.

“He was the one that said, ‘I can do it, you can do something about it.’

And he’s doing something about that.”

Meanwhile, Trump has been spending the week on his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, with Trump National Golf Club owner Joe Ricketts, who is a close friend of the president.

Ricketts said Wednesday that he was “thrilled” by the president’s “passion and commitment” to keeping his promises.

The president and his wife, Melania, have been in Bedboro since March 2, when Trump first traveled to New Jersey to attend the funeral of his mother, Marla Maples.

The trip came at a critical time for Trump, who was facing a wave of criticism over his decision to rescind a temporary travel ban that would have temporarily banned citizens from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the U.S. in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

He also had to scramble to meet the nation’s first-ever Ebola epidemic in the U: He was forced to cancel two presidential trips and cancel an overseas trip to Canada because of an outbreak.

But Trump was able to continue his schedule of daily news conferences and campaign rallies, despite the looming budget impasse, with aides saying the president was “trying to get back on schedule.”

The president also met with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has a close relationship with the president, and other House Democrats at the White House on Wednesday, including New York Rep. Louise Slaughter.

“I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

We’ve been working very closely together,” Trump said.
